For details call Public Works at 303-582-5004
Trash Transfer Site
234 Jankowski Drive, Mile Marker 15, HWY 119, Black Hawk, CO 80422
HOURS:
Wednesdays - Saturdays: 7:00 am – 2:30 pm; Sundays: 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to an increased volume of traffic at the Transfer Site
residents are now required to obtain their “Free Trash Day” Tokens from the
Public Works office ONLY. No one will be allowed to use their “Free
Trash Day” without first obtaining the token through the Public Works
office. The Public Works office is open Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some residents but the
Transfer Site cannot handle the increased volume along with the time it
takes to verify each resident’s information. Should residents have
questions or concerns they may contact Public Works at 303-582-5004.
Trash Site Fees
Please note that changes at the trash site include fees for all
household trash, new rates for larger items, as well as opportunities to
purchase punch cards, and a token system to replace the free trash
coupons once available in the County Newsletter. Please see the
above link for details. Also note: cash or check
accepted, no credit cards.
