PROPERTY TAX WORK-OFF PROGRAM

Gilpin County created the Property Tax Work-Off
Program in 2005 to allow senior citizens and disabled taxpayers the opportunity to work
on projects with various Gilpin County departments in order to pay the County portion of their property taxes.
In 2007, Gilpin County RE-I School District joined our program (school limit:
2-3 participants). Jobs
are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Gilpin County cannot
guarantee the completion of potential work hours.
