Gilpin County Access Permit
Gilpin County requires an access permit when creating, adjusting or adding to
a driveway. Please contact the Gilpin County Road & Bridge Department at
303-582-5004 for procedures and to submit an application. Applications are
available in the Community Development Office.
Gilpin County Septic Permits, Inspections and Information

Environment Services, located in the Justice Center on Dory Hill Road, at

Wells/Well Permits
For all Gilpin County well permits and well information, contact the Colorado

Standard well permit cost: $480.00
Well Water Testing
Water quality testing of a private well is the responsibility of the owner.
The Laboratory and Radiation Services Division of the Colorado Department of
Public Health and Environment can perform water testing; call 303-692-3074.
Electrical Permit
Contact the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs at 303-894-2985 for
application and details. Applications are available from the Community
Development Department.
