GILPIN COUNTY FAIR STAGE AUDITIONS - June 2, 2013 at Roy's Last Shot, 17268 Hwy. 119, Rollinsville, CO 80474 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Six slots are open on the stage during the Gilpin County Fair on Saturday and Sunday, August 17 & 18, 2013 including playing around the bonfire on Saturday night. Auditions are being held to fill those slots. 1-4 piece Bands, Comedy, Magic, any CLEAN, FAMILY-ORIENTED act will be considered. COME BE A JUDGE! Anyone present during the auditions will be given a ballot and allowed to choose their favorite acts to appear at the County Fair in August.

Upcoming CSU Classes - "Fire Preparedness Workshop "May 4 from 1pm to 5pm "Kids living with wildlife"; May 7 at 6:30 pm "Vegetable Planting Techniques & Season Extension"; May 11 from 9am to Noon "Firewise Landscaping"; May 29 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm "Drought Tolerant Hardy Flowers"; June 1 from 9am to Noon "Chainsaw Safety Workshop"; and June 22 from 1pm to 4pm "Garden Pests: Insects & Critters".

GCART Gymkhana Series - Come participate in the Gymkhana Horse Games. Any age and experience levels are welcome! Dates are June 9, July 14 with the series final at the Gilpin County Fair on August 18, 2013. Come to Fairgrounds the morning of the event and register for the day. This event is looking for at least one food vendor to complement the Mexican food vendor on July 14th. If your organization is interested in this second spot, please contact Vicki at 303-582-5214.

Gilpin County Flea Market - June 7 & 8, 2013. Booth applications are now available.Outside vendors are welcome to stay over on Sunday, June 9th and sell to the participants and attendees of the GCART Gymkhana taking place in the arena. GCART Sponsored CoWN Ranch Horse Spectacular - July 5, 6 & 7, 2013. Clinic on Friday with show each day beginning at 8:00 a.m. Application and Flyer will be available shortly, please check back.

Merchandise vendors please call Heather at 303-582-9106. NEW IN 2013, the merchandise and information vendors will be in the gymnasium at the Community Center. This means clean, dust free booth spaces! Special requirements for setting up are listed on the application along with other changes for 2013 so please review the application carefully.
